This is one of my favorite airports! Easy to tie down, and easy access to the terminal. Love the area around it, and both approaches are fabulous! Especially flying over the road when heading North. Hope to go camping there soon.

Great little airport! There are "twin" tie downs near the North end past the "Biplane" hangar. The self-serve hose was a little short to get to the main tank on the far wing of my Cessna 421 when I taxied abeam the pump. Luckily, with the short runway, I did not need to add much gas and was able to put it into the aux tank on that side.

I flew in there last week. It's a semi-short runway but not too bad. There is a trail that leads into town. If you walk to the South end of the field, just cross the street, you know you're on the trail when you look left and see the Fire Station. Very nice getaway, would definitely come back. Let's just say that when I jumped back into the plane I had 4 or 5 real estate books. So if you are ever in the area stop on by and check it out!!

Very nice airport. Cost for overnight is minimal and you can drop it in the box outside if the FBO is closed. We didn't have change and the FBO didn't have change so they told us to just drop it in the mail. The island is a great place to visit!

Tying our plane down and camping over a period of time was only the cost of the monthly tie down fee, thus, saving us a great deal of money. I love the Farmer's Market. Lots of good local products.

I fly here frequently. The airport is well managed. As of Spring 2004, there is an AWOS station on field (135.42). The lovely town of Eastsound is about a mile walk away. Look for signs for a trail into town. There are several good businesses in town, my favorites are Darvill's Bookstore and the Lower Tavern (great burgers).

Camping is allowed on the grass next to your plane. If you get there while the terminal building is still open they will give you a key to access the restrooms and shower, or just ask another camper.
